...Hunger Games premiere in Finland!
For those of you who don't know what Hunger Games is all about; read this. It is a Wikipedia article so read it carefully if you don't want to get spoiled.
Personally I LOVE The Hunger Games, my favourite book series ever. I love the story, the characthers, all of it. Before I read The Hunger Games I thought that there is no book better than Harry Potter's or writer better than J.K Rowling. Well, I was totally wrong. My best friend had read the first book of The Hunger Games and loved it and told me to read it. As soon as I finished the first one, I fell in love with it too.
I loved Suzanne Collins' idea and writing style.
I loved Katniss and how she wanted to win for her little sister.
I loved Peeta and how he cared and loved Katniss allthough he knew Katniss didn't actually feel the same way.
I loved Haymitch and how he realized that this year he actually got two tributes who might win.
I loved Effie Trinket and how she was totally honest but sweet.
I loved Cinna and how he truly cared about Katniss.
I loved the District 12, how they didn't have much but still stayed positive. At least they tried.
After the first book I read the second and started waiting the third. After the third arrived I immediately went to a book store to buy it and read it as quickly as I could. After that I started waiting the movie. I didn't have high exoectations because I knew that often the movie is much much worse than the actual book.
After watching the movie I was positively surprised! I liked it, it was amazing! All the little details was there and all. It was made very well. Now I'm waiting on the second movie which come out Wednesday 20th of November, only three days to go.
I have high expectations about the movie and what I've seen on the trailers, I think I'm not going to be dissapointed. But also I'm fearing that I have too high expectations and I don't like the movie. I hope that is not going to be the case, I hope that the movie is awesome and has all the things what the book had.
I'm sorry if I made mistakes with my spelling or writing. I'm not native English so I hope you understand. And for those of you who are wondering why I'm writing in English is that I have so many views from the US so I wanted to write this way on a change. I will continue writing in Finnish but sometimes I will write in English.
